Except for my upper and BCG that left OH last night returning to OH tonight I should have a complete gun this time next weekend. A bit concerned about the upper returning to its origin point.

Consider this a so/so (expected ship date is July) lead but with BCG's so hard to come by, figure I would post it....

Sportmans Guide is allowing you to pre-order BCG's again (they have been come and go, for example, since late December I've only seen them allow orders twice and only for a short time before shutting down ordering)...

Can use coupon code ($12 off $100 purchase): SGHAPPYVAL

Member price is $134 (non is $149)

It's just mocked up hand tight, but I now have 100% of the parts to complete. And as luck would have it work just dropped to 30 hour work weeks for the foreseeable future.

Edit: Ooops, forgot to give thanks.

Thanks to buckeye, SouthDakotaHunter and Christine for answering questions and helping along the way!

Just called a shark muzzle device. I tend to use Amazon for a lot of things, figured why not ar accessories.

Roll pin punch set I ordered isn't what I needed, didn't go small enough, will have to buy one local before I can get it built.

Another amazon special through the same company as the flash hider and hand guard has a rail on top and bottom. The bottom rail is not the same level as the hand guard though. Might end up changing it to a question rail or go with a low profile and 12" hand guard. That's all back burnered until work picks back up.

Just bought two stripped lowers tonight that came in on trade at a LGS. These are accounted for I think, but there was a polymer bushmaster and a S&W mp15 lower I didn't pick up for big prices that I didn't get. Prices were high, but if you were desperate to get one I could get one and send for my cost for a close bhc friend if you need one. Send me a pm if you have interest, I don't think they will las lt but if you need one I think they will be there in the morning.

Skd tactical is doing another deal whole month of Feb. They're taking 5% of your order and donanting it to the nra in a fight feinstein promotion. I didn't really look around much to see what they had but over past couple months they've been big 2nd amendment supporter and with exception of they're a**hole proofed mags haven't raised prices on anything.

I only have one lower right now, and swap my two uppers between it. I'm anticipating that my other lower might fall off the boat this spring by total accident, so of course I'll need another one to register due to NY's SAFE act if I plan to keep hunting with an AR or if I plan to go to the sportsmans club to shoot. I'll just build out another identical lower as I can acquire parts so I have a spare.

The other I picked up for a buddy that couldn't find one before the SAFE act went through. Pretty much no one will ship to NY now so his only chance was for one to pop up locally like this before the 4/15 cutoff date and I picked it up to help him out.

Here is my build at the moment. As of right now I have no parts on order. Actually thinking of trading or selling it off to tell the truth. If anybody has a lever action rifle let me know ;)

I'm waiting for a 300AAC Blackout upper or a 5.56 gas piston upper.

I'll probably be waiting awhile. I may be getting swaging dies first. Dies to make .22 cal bullets, including a die to make the bullet jackets from spent .22 rimfire cases. :)

I know where you can get a complete piston set up for like $360ish. Thats just the piston setup not the upper receiver, barrel etc etc.

I bought an old Winchester model 94 a couple years ago thinking it would be fun... Not so much. They are cooler in the old movies than they are in real life IMO.
