Any you guys built them before? If so let's see some pictures and what parts you used.

I'm about to start a build as soon as my lower is in stock.

I built several of them. None of them functioned properly immediately and required tweaking to run right. They also weren't the most reliable after tweaking. All were significantly heavier than the non 5.56 calibers you can build on the AR-15 platform too. The ones I built were based on ar15performance.com lowers, bolts, and barrels.

I'd absolutely suggest a 6.8 SPC on the AR-15 platform over an AR-10. JMHO.

6.8 uses a 5.56 lower correct? No dice as those lowers are banned for sale in the peoples republic of MD because they are black, scary, and kill people. And ammo is more $$ and harder to find.

Any AR-15 lower can be used for the 6.8. So they banned AR-15 platforms but not AR-10's?

Ammo for the 6.8 is easy to find online.........

I don't know if it's because ours are gas piston or what. We reload tho', so we're at about 15-20 cents per round depending on the bullet.
