I don't have apple trees on the property that I hunt, however my grandpa has a few Apple Trees that produce a pretty good stand of apples. I picked about 75 apples and put them out on my hunting property in front of a camera 6 days ago. Nearly 800 pictures later the apples were gone! I've put apples out before and had them eating, but never this quickly! Here are just a few photos that were pretty cool. Mostly doe, fawns and young bucks hit the apples this time around.
cool pictures!. I got about 25 apple trees with in a few hundred yards of my house which was the original farmstead. One thing I do is spray round up underneath the trees. Did it once last year and really didnt have to do it again this year. Just keeping it clean under the trees so deer can get to them easier.
