My biggest complaint is the thermometer. But I'm not sure what they can do to improve it. Since its attached to you wrist it picks up your temp and outside temp so the only way to get an accurate temp is to hang it somewhere for 5 minutes. Compass seems dead nuts. Gps is can be off about 5 feet or so when you upload your trail to your computer. It all depends on how many satellites you are linked to while using it. It's great for marking fish while fishing or blood tracking

It doesnt have some of the bells and whistles that the i watch does, like making and recveing through the watch, itll let you know who and when someone is calling but you cant use it to answer. I didnt want it for that though. Outdoors functionalty I think its better than the iwatch though

After looking at the functions offered, I agree with you. It has much better outdoors functionality.

There are some times that I go alone to Mark Twain National Forest. Not only do I camp miles from the nearest sign of civilization on a forest trail in the trees, but I hunt at least a mile and sometimes two or three from camp in big hills. If anything goes wrong I had better have some way to call for help. My point is that there are times where I would say you'd be a fool not to carry your phone while hunting.

Everyone’s debating a phone watch in a tree and I over here wondering why there is no technology to change the diaper he just loaded. IMG_4600.JPG

What are you talking about? That technology is right at your fingertips. Now you've gotta use them.

That technology needs to be apart of the next smartphone/watch. Now that would truly be "smart" technology.

I have an Apple Watch and for the exact reasons you specified it is amazing. To get texts etc without having to pull out the phone. So much less movement

You're the second person I've seen who mentioned the SOS feature. I had no idea it did that, and I really like that idea.

I do whatever I want. I drive to the stand on a Harley wearing aless chaps. I sit on stand in a white Tshirt and a blue tooth in my ear. I don't give a damn

I’m also a wearer of assless chaps. I find that a good spraying of scent eliminator on the exposed buttocks is enough to counteract the ass scent.

The ticks are pretty bad down there in Fl right? Aren’t you worried about one entering the back door?

I have a Apple Watch and love it! Those that feel they need to "unplug" then unplug. I choose to be available for my family and my responsibilities and quite frankly have my phone for entertainment to help pass long hours on stand that may be slow. I have no regrets and could care less what anyone says. As for the watch it is a fantastic convenience that I could live without but I do enjoy having for the exact reason others have stated. Never miss a text, one tap will respond to others with basic answers such as Yes, No, Call you later, On my way, Etc! If you have to, you can press the microphone and speak into your watch and it will send in text what you speak. Not to mention I have sunrise/sunset right on the face so no need to open a app and if you workout all the health applications are priceless. In the end, yeah I could live without it but why? It is very convenient.
