This sun is absolutely brutal, I've debated it in the past but always envision a glare coming off from them when I move my head. A hat helps, but even that is awkward at times with certain angles of the sun. .
Well I wear actual glasses, I have always wondered if that would spook deer if the sun hit them just right...if I dont have them on though, I cant see my site pins, and that isnt good.
I always wear prescription glasses and have never noticed any negative effects. Some people wear head lamps on their baseball caps and that would present the same risks I would assume. One of my pair of glasses had that "transition" lenses which automatically get dark when it is bright out. I loved them for hunting but always thought they looked too 80ish.
Always the simple things, I never really gave it a thought how many people hunt with eyeglasses. Guess it probably wouldn't be that bad, I'm not wanting any topgun aviators or anything.
I usually just pull my hat down & grin & bear it. The top gun aviators would be pretty cool though! (grin)
