Anyone watching updates on the Bassmaster Classic?

I've been watching the updates on the BASSTrakk all day today. Anyone else following? Any predictions?

Ike is tied for first but has been leading almost all day. Looks like he's trying to stick every fish he has today, hopefully he doesn't melt down and throw any rods in the water tomorrow or slap the boat marshall when he's got no more fish and comes in with 4lbs....haha.

I'm pulling for Randy Howell, but think KVD is going to be the guy to beat. I'm not a KVD fanboy but cold water and sparse big fish is his strength. He'll find them and cover a ton of water in the process.

 

I been watching all day myself. Ott is a friend, so Im pullin for him for sure. Doing by the BassTrakk he didnt have a great day but hes not far out of it at all. I am a KVD and Ike fan, so like seeing them doin good. And I know Swindle caught more then the trakk said so excited how weight ins look for him. This event has me fired up as always. My biggest dream is to be in the classic so love when its that time of the year. And its cool because I have my first tournament in 6 weeks and with the time of year and all, Ill be doing a lot of the same things they are doing down there. So it helps fire me up for that cold event.

 

Kinda shocked there isn't many into this...

 

Ain't no body got time for that :D na I fish tourneys, but don't follow any of that. Doesn't pull my trigger.

I have been watching all day, thats why I havent been on BH.com.

At the beginning of the tournament I picked Edwin Evers. A local dude I thought would have this figured out. He is in 19th place right now.

My favorite angler is Ike, I was surprised with him today. I cant figure out how KVD can do this every single year. I get it that Tiger Woods or Serena Williams can dominate one sport because it never changes, but in the world of fishing it is absurd that one guy can dominate every body of water he fishes.

 

Pretty sure he uses performance enhancers of some kind...its unreal how good he is.

 

Just checked it a few hours ago. KVD will probably pull it out. I'm a fan of Ike's, so it'd be cool to see him win again. Palaniuk is probably my favorite, but he has some work to do.

 

I rather see ike lose an flip out like a 5 th grader

Haven't been checking the site much but I'm going to watch it on TV. Should be interesting to see who pulls it off.

 

They just played "Everybody Was Kung Fu Fighting" when Takahiro Omori came on the stage. Who are the idiots running this? Wow.

I was wondering if the anglers picked the songs or not. Are you sure they do? I dont remember, but there was an old guy earlier who came in to a rap/pop song and that didnt really fit. Maybe some do and if they dont care it gets picked for them?

 

No forsure they pick. One of the cool things about it. You talking about Swindle as the old guy? haha hes not young anymore but still considered one of the young guns.

 

No not Swindle. I dont remember, but these are pretty generic/popular songs so I dont think the anglers are picking them.

Did you hear the music for Ish? Of course it was rap.

 

Yeah he had a rap song...Im a rap fan myself and was a bit let down on his song pick though lol. He normally brings in a good song.

haha yeah hes good people. Ive met him a couple times. hard to understand sometimes but a good guy

 

I didn't realize there was a way to keep track of it while it was happening. Not that I have access to a computer at all all day anyway.

Glued to the iPad. Watched the whole weigh in. Anyone participate in fantasy fishing? If so I will make a group for bh.com and we can all play along. It all starts with the first elite series event so no one has missed out yet.
