I have Gorrilla sticks that are almost exactly the same as those. I assume they are made of steel, and that makes them pretty heavy. They aren't great for mobile set ups, but they are awesome for lock-on stands that you will leave in place.

I have the same Gorilla sticks. Not good for mobile use but great for a lock-on that will stay. I usually carry in and out the bottom to sticks just in case. Here's a link to the Gorilla sticks.

On average how high can you usually get with the Gorilla sticks?

I can get around 4-4.5 feet per stick. 32" of stick and then around 18' in between.

depends on how tall you are too. i use the LF sticks and can get above 20' with four, but if i bring my lil' hunting buddy along we get up about 15' or so...

i always say this though... take down your last two sticks (closest to the ground) every time you leave the woods though... just in case a person sees your stand, it wont be as easy to take!

I am right at 6 foot.

I was hanging a stand the other day and was having a hard time getting my climbing sticks into the tree I wanted. It proved to be impossible so I had to pick a different less appealing tree close by. That's when I thought about buying a few sets of these for those irregular shaped trees.

I just got a set,the are heavy and they don't stack well to carry. That being said, they are solid, the build is nice, and for the money I'm way happy.
