Thought it would be easier to use my Ipad4 instead of taking the laptop out with me. Bought a Sd card reader on eBay but it didn't work. Any other ideas?

I have 2 SD cards for each camera and swap them out.

Same here Pat but the weekends during season that I am at our lease I'd like to use the iPad instead of using a laptop to view pics instead of waiting to get back to my house.

i use the Kodak Playsport, handheald camera.

I use it during bow season to attach to my bowc so it is normally with me when i go out.
