I was wondering if anyone has used this tiller or one like it? I have a big 4 wheeler bit do not have a tractor or the money to the big fancy stuff. I have 10 acres or so, not to big of a plot, so don't want to spend a ton either. Was hoping something like this would work. Let me know guys. Here's the link:

Did you enter a zip code? May be that it's regional.

As long as you have enough weight on it, it should work fine for small plots.

Need to break ground first, pray for rain, and add weight. Not worth the money.

I would have to agree with Ben, not sure how well that would work if the ground was not broken first. Just to give you an idea, I have a HD 6' king kutter disc that weighs right at 1000 lbs and when it comes to new ground that has never been broken, I have to use my 6' tiller first. Just my opinion but hope it helps.

Yes thank you guys. The ground is always very wet here in the spring so I was going to use that to my advantage. The owner before us of this property did till it somewhat about 5 years ago, I don't know if that helps at all. And I do not know how much. Is there any other product you know that is under $1000 and doesn't need a pto or 3 point hitch that I can look into getting instead of this? I only settled on this because it seems like my only option for what I'm working with.

Where are you located ? Possibly hire someone the first year to till it ? ?

I agree with Pat. That is what I am going to be doing as I have all new plots this year.

You are likely going to put a lot of wear and tear on your expensive ATV and probably be farther ahead with hiring someone.

After that first year, you should be able to work it with enough weight on the equipment.

You might also want to look at the Groundhog Max. I don't have one but it gets great reviews everywhere. People say it works great.

    Good luck

Hey thanks for the info guys. I will be looking into some other options and see what I come up with, and use this as a last resort. If you guys think of any other idea let me know please. Thanks again!

It's slightly easier after it's tilled the first year, but it's still a chore after a year of settling and such.

I'm currently working on a fix for guys like us. I have two volunteers to test already, Quik and Rob. All she needs is a bit mroe fab and it will be ready for testing.

My buddy has one and it doesn't work great. Virgin ground or not it struggles to do anything. I wouldn't waste the time or money on one.

10 acres is actually a lot of land to till, I think you would be unhappy with a ATV attachments, I know I was.

I had one and it didn't work to good. I even added about 200 pounds to it. We have big equipment and wanted something we could use on the Rangers for tight spots. Well it didn't cut the mustard! I ended up getting a small compact sized disc and modifying it to be pulled behind rather than a 3-point lift. It cost a little more but turns soil.
