I have one but have yet to use it. Was wondering what you do for scent on it, as well as tips for positioning, when to use, and any other info if you have any experience. Thank you!

I put mine where deer can see it usually an opening as far as scent I hang it on a tree near the decoy. I do that because I usually just keep my decoy by the stand I hunt out of under a fallen down tree to hide it.

    (1) Must be highly visible.

    (2) Very low deer density area.

    (3) I like to use one on isolated tree lines during the rut.

I have great luck with my decoys in very high deer density areas.

I generally don't put anything directly on the decoy but spray the surrounding grass or brush with urine.

Fletch, I have had great luck too, but the problem for me with high deer density areas is I feel like I have too many does blowing on it. Maybe my approach is a little off.

Ensure you have the butt facing you so as to have the buck come to the *** of the decoy. You have the *** away and the buck vitals might be hid more as he comes toward it. Also it'll help keep his eyes of off you as he looks to the decoy.

Buck decoy - face it towards you so a challenger buck will come around to face him. Very rarely will they approach from the rear.
Doe decoy - rear facing towards you as a buck will come around from behind to check the doe.
Either decoy - make sure they are upwind of you.

Don't put scent on the decoy. If you store it near your stand deer will find it with scent on it, not to mention you'll get scent all over yourself carrying it. You can put scent on pads around the decoy or just sprinkle around it so they hit that before any human scent you may have left on the decoy. Use a scent killer spray on the decoy.

I just spray the grass around the decoy with HS Primetime urine. I try to keep the decoy free of all scents.
