As I continue to play with my new z7, I was thinking about putting on a custom grip. I had an idea of what I wanted, and found Tourqueless Grips, and thought that they may be able to make what I wanted with the engraving and such, but I see they don't offer an all black grip anymore.

Just wondering if anyone else has bought one before. What company did you buy from? Did it help your shooting, or was it just for looks?

I have the torqueless on my Z-7 extreme. They make a great grip that really does reduce hand torque by minimizing the contact points. Besides it is a nice to look at wood grip. Have had them on all my Mathews bows. Worth the investment. Easy to swap out the grip with a hairdryer and the black weather sealant from 3M.

I went with the Focus grip by Mathews on my Z7 and WOW! It really works well. I have used torqueless, and even customized the original grip to my liking, but the Focus (even though it is rubber) has truly impressed me.

I bought my first custom grip this year for my Assassin. Purely for aesthetics.

I have a custom grip from Torqueless on my mission. I love it and it's really helped reduce the hand torque on the bow.

Finch that is a great looking bow. I was wanting an all black grip with red engraving, but I may end up with the Black and Red grip from Torqueless as a 2nd choice.

wolbear-I've read good things on the Focus grip, but I'm not sure how much I would like a rubber grip.

This is the Wineberry by Torqueless. Didn't realize I had a pic of it. I can't tell if I like the looks of it more, or the way it shoots more. I'm really glad I got it.
