I have had the tek hybrid, 2013 version it's a really nice sight however I didn't like the pins and placement of extra fibers. They were not bright enough for my liking. But i tend to split hairs sometimes with equipment. Even as it was its a nicer moveable pin sight then the majority of the market. However from what I can tell of the new 2014's they corrected both issues, adding more fiber optics and wrapping them around the sight housing
I used one last year and really liked it. I agree that the pins weren't the brightest in the world, but if that becomes an issue in low light just click on the rheostat light and problem solved. Overall I really liked the sight. Very well built and easy to adjust. I had the 5 pin model but removed 2 pins from it. So essentially I had a 20-30-40 fixed pin and used the 40 for my floating pin. If I needed to shoot longer just twist the knob to the correct distance and off you go.
Go to the ATA page there is a video on it there they have greatly improved them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have a CBE TEK Hybrid 1 pin sight on my Mathews Creed and I love it. I like the sight because it didn't have all the extra fiber optic cable. Any one that actually looked at the sight before they bought it should have noticed the setup and how the pins are completely enclosed. Like Justin said, in low light conditions, just turn on the rheostat light that comes on the sight. This feature makes this the ideal low light sight for bowhunting to me. Like I said in other posts, it is built like a tank and is a great adjustable sight. Worth every penny!
