Going to be getting a new Mathews bow in a couple days. Probably going to get a Z7 Extreme but wanted to hear some what people are saying about the Z9 first.
My buddy bougth one a couple months ago and loves it he has a 31" draw and loves the 8 3/4" brace on it.
Im his buddy.I had a Drenalin LD before this and a FX2 before that. I love the Z9 but its all about what your looking for I have a long draw so thats why I went this route especially because of the longer brace height and shorter axle to axle.Mike has the Z7 extreme and he likes his too.Z7 is faster but with a shorter brace height and depending on your draw length, if you only have a 26 inch draw go Z7 if your shooting closer to 30 its all on you. there pretty much the same bow with a bigger cam and again a longer brace

I will be looking into a z9 or whatever incarnation Mathews throws out next year in a long draw setup. Does it pull back like a Z7 extreme? My buddy has one and that thing seems to have a huge hump that I really don't like. He actually has it set 2lb less than my bow but it is harder to pull back. I really really like the ez7 but I don't know if they will be able to get it out to my length. I will probably be in the 31-32" category. I'm not really going to be fixated too much on speed. Mainly just want to go to a new bow because I want a shorter ATA.
