Anyone recognize this rack???

    Driving home from hunting last week I see what appears to be either a gigantic rack or a small tree protruding from the pickup truck a few cars ahead of us. We catch up to him a few lights up and this is what I see.

    Could not tell what the head looked like under the cover but the ear looks small like a whitetail but the rack looks to be elk for sure. I guess any ear would look small under this rack.


    Anyways.........just wondering if they were in transit to some show and someone out there may know this rack as it would certainly be world class if legit.

    Pic was taken at signal in a tiny podunk nowhere town in rural NY.

    almost looks like a redstag with those tops

    I would say stag or elk.

    My guess is Stag. I love those animals, I'd like to hunt them some day!

    I would also think it's a Red Stag vs. an Elk, but I've been wrong before, if you don't believe me, just ask my WIFE!!! :D

    And likewise, I'd like to hunt them too....:rock:

    Another thought that strikes me is could that possibly be a PA Elk??? There are some unusual PA Elk racks out there too..... :confused:
