The last week has been great In my neck of the woods! I seen one possible book buck and have also been getting a few more new bucks on the trail cams (A few nice ones at that)!! The corn on our land came out early this week so I'm sure that was a big help In the buck sightings on the trail cams. The only problem Is I can't get out to the woods and hunt!! The last 3 to 4 days I've been taken care of my little girl while the g/f has been doing odds and ends In town after she's done working. She knows this Is hunting time and It's going to be getting good here soon!! This will change come Monday believe me!
I haven't really noticed any more buck movement yet. But with this cold front that just blew thru that could change quickly. There have been a few new scrapes show up around my fields. But they don't seem to be hitting them too regulsr yet. Give it another 2 weeks and things should be getting real interesting.
I haven't been out in 2 weeks now and it looks like I won't be able to get out this weekend now like I had originally planned. But they have started cutting all the corn around me now so hopefully we will start seeing more of them then we have been!
Nope, no recent sightings of him. Only saw does last weekend. I have 2 cameras set up on scrapes this week. I can't wait to see what showed up there.
Not really moving but saw two bucks in a pretty good brawl yesterday on my way to my blind, they were fighting right out infront of my ladderstand along the cornfield, there was a doe just south of them between me and the bucks. Other than that havent been seeing any bucks at all for a while.
Definately.... I got all of these in the past 7 days or so..all nice bucks, all daylight. Ive also had more buck sightings lately while in the stand.
I've been reading up on all your threads Mike and I figured you'd be posting on here saying you've noticed more movement during the light hours. Good luck with them bucks Hunsucker and good luck also John on getting that the biggin you almost had once already. Good luck to all!!!
Just talked to Shawn. He just got done checking some cameras and i guess there are some more bucks during the daylight on them...ill post pics soon
