Anyone interested in hunting Illinois October 23rd through the 29th (6 days) let me know. We are hunting my buddies place, Western Illinois Trophy Outfitters (WITO) in Western Illinois, Hancock, McDonough, Fulton, and Adams counties, 35+ farms, and they are shutting down the entire operation for our UltimateCamo group. Its normally $2400 but if you go with us its $1500, does not include archery tag. We have 2 private lodges, north and south. I still have a few spots left if anyone is interested the last week of October, great moon phase, right before the rut breaks loose, 35+ private farms, guided or unguided, your choice. We arent going to pack the lodges, we want to keep it comfortable and be able to speard the hunters out, have 1 guy get 2 farms or so each. Sorry Rob, no gimps allowed : ) I know allot of guys on here so I figured may be fun to get a few guys come hunt with us for a really good price, even if you wear Predator Camo!!! I only have a few spots so its going to be first come basis. Oh, and if you kill a buck you are welcome to continue hunting and kill all the coyotes you want, and a Doe. Let me know Andy http://www.westernillinoisoutfitters.com/ http://www.westernillinoisoutfitters.com/gallery.html
I'm still working on getting down during that time so I can run up one evening to chill with the crew. Not sure if my buddy can get away to hunt the farm that weekend but I am twisting his arm pretty hard
There are some great public spots down there within 45-50 minutes of where they are staying such as Buckhorn Ranch
Christine and I may just be over that way in Brown County South West of Mount Sterling on those above dates at Hunting Unlimited with Larry Hanold doing the Womens Bowhunt, this will be my 11th or 12th year going there, I cant remember... getting old I guess were pretty close to Buckhorn Greg and Larry propably can supply you lodging and Dinner and lots of great Wine... We could even do some filming. Larry says nothing but good things about the quality of deer on the Buck Horn.
Andy, I wish I had known about this sooner. That is a great deal and sounds like a blast. I just spent a ton of money on filming/editing gear so I'm tapped out right now. Are you guys planning on doing an annual trip or is this a one-time deal?
I hear ya, all the video gadgets definately add up. I would like to say Im going to start making this an annual trip but Im going to Iowa next year for 2 weeks and not sure i can pull off both trips right in busy season for camo, but I will do my best, and, I'll probably still do a UC week out there with the discount price even if I cant make the whole week : ) Aaron definatly has his %$^%$ together, hes one of the co hosts on Whitetail Properties and absoluetely does an A+ job in managing/rotating his properties with limiting hunters and pressure. I forgot to mention he does have a 140" minimum, or best field guess, so anyone interested keep that in mind. Bloodcrick, maybe next time bud. If I do this again next year I'll post something up earlier if possible. The only reason Im even posting this late is because I have so many guys that want to go we just about filled up one lodge (14 guys) so Aaron said today lets open the second/south lodge up for you guys which is another 15 farms and spread the hunters out, which means we can comfortably do 8 guys in the north lodge, and 8 guys in the south lodge even though they sleep 16, so, I can get another 2 to 4 guys in easy. Greg, if youre going to be out there while we are there we have to hook up, even just for a late dinner, mid day, whatever.
Best of luck guys, you will be hunting some amazing grounds that produces some tremendous whitetails every season.
Does anyone need a kidney or liver I'm selling mine for $1500.00 first come first serve. I need to know quickly.
