Anyone Interested in a Photo/Video School?

I think this is a great idea Trevor and like I said on the phone if the dates work I am in for sure.

 

I would love to do something like this, but with trying to finish up my degree it would be hard to swing. One of my goals after completing school is to get into filming my hunts.

 

Man I'd love to Trevor but just too far away for me.

 

We have a weekend set guys! Just waiting on more of a tentitive head count. Hoping to move forward with the rest of the planning this week. August 10-11 with Friday August 9th being a roll into camp day if you are available to do so. We will be having it at Blackhawk Lake recreation area outside Highland, WI. I will reserve several campsites with electricity and vehicle admission passes. There are showers and bathrooms on site. Beautiful lake, beach area, trails, and scenery. Working on fees and legalities now.

August 10th will most likely be all about photography, composition, photo gear, ect. August 11th with get into the video aspect of it.

Afflicted, sorry at this time I am more interested in teaching hands on. Sorry if this isnt possible for you to attend. If things work out and this is successful this year I may try to put something together every year.

Hope to get up there for a hunt someday and it would be great to incorporate your class into the trip.

 

Hey Trevor, any chance you could set up a single camera to record the group training session like a lecture style recording? I'm not talking anything special, just a camera on a tripod with shotgun mic hit record and forget about it. Or maybe just an audio recording of each session that could be used like a podcast?

OR

Maybe one of you guys who attend can record it for the rest of us

Myself and partner you met would be in for that. If you need any extra gear for demonstration let me know, i would be more then happy to bring a extra dslr and some other video cameras, and mics, lighting, etc.
