Too hot for me. Looks like next weekend going to be just as warm. Plus out of left field my father in-law ( whose land I hunt on (doesn't bow hunt, but gun hunts)) says he doesn't want any doe shot this year. Not sure why as there are a ton of doe and plenty of deer and we've only killed 2 doe in the last 5 years, but I just smile and say ok. So I may pull a Sota and not hunt till late October this year. Anyone going out?

The only reason I'm going is to hang no trespassing signs along the new neighbors side of my property. Then hunt the property line. I'm just making sure he knows I'm there.

I'm going out but it will be more of a scouting from a distance than actually hunting.

I'm in. Doe and dawn so far. Enough of breeze to keep temp down a bit and bugs away.

I was out until the sun started shining on me....saw one doe & heard another one early on, dont know if that one was sporting head gear or not! Really want to go out this afternoon but its suppose to be hotter than a momma bears armpit! Will probably head out again in the morning to a difderent stand

In the stand right now. Same stand I shot an 8 pointer out of last September. The walk out was hot, but pretty comfy sitting. No bugs and a little breeze. The stand would be comfier if the cushion was still on the seat. Good sign around me though. The deer have been hammering the beans behind me. This will be my only sit until the first weekend in November. 3 days total for the year. 3 yr old, 2 yr old, 2 month old at home, and work two jobs. Time is limited. Good luck to all.

Watched our bean field from the truck both nights. 140+" 8 been hanging out on the opposite side of the field as my stand.. unfortunately I have no way to hunt him until he makes the move to the woods on my side of the beans
