Has anyone ever heard of this place. His website has awesome trail cam pics and Randy Couture hunted there last year.

First I've heard of them but, from the area I am sure they have dealing with Lee and Tiffany. Looking at their prices, I'm in the wrong business. WOW, $2200 for bow season. I know that the southern 1/3 of Iowa is where you will find the biggest deer so, their claim of trophy deer should be true. I think if you can afford it it isn't too bad. You know what they say, location, location, location.

Nope, never heard of them. Yea...with all of the hype about IA deer, I probably should be guiding guys too. Let's see, a wilderness type hunt up a river by boat, living in a walltent, and hunting some of the best whitetail woods in America......$5,000 per person for a 5-7 day bow hunt the 1st week in Nov and I provide meals. Considering an elk hunt out west can go for twice this price, I guess I would probably be booked solid. Only thing is, is that locals and my hunting buddys HATE outfitters and ANYTHING TO DO WITH LEASING up ground and tying it up for non residents. A couple of guys a year I could get away with, but get too crazily big, and it would be a gr8 way to make enemies for sure.

I agree with Hardcorehunter. I too dislike outofstaters, but only because the DNR uses up a ton of tags for them while screwing the residents out of tags by putting quotas on them. No offense to those that come here, just dont shoot my deer. :-p

Iowa has nice deer no doubt but I don't know anyone who would pay $5,000 to sleep in a tent for a week. You can hunt in and around the golden triangle of Illinois for just over $2,000 for a week in the rut and you are in a cabin with a hot shower, laundry and home cooked meals.

Not knocking your hunt description because it does sound sweet.........just over priced ;)

Iowa license fees are going through the roof from what I hear as well so that would be prohibitve as well.

I'm from Adams/Pike County Illinois and as far as outfitters I lost all kinds of hunting ground to them. The outfitters around here do not care about managing deer, just the money. Iowa is definitely the place to be to kill monster bucks now.
