Just curious. I picked some up today (impulse buy ;)) and I'm wondering if they affect how easily the stand packs, etc.

    Anyone have feedback?

I had them and took them off, didn't like them. They did not hinder the packing of the stand, just poorly designed IMO.

They don't affect the backpacking at all in my opinion. I like having them. I will however say, I only use them for short periods of time. I like to be able to take that pressure off the back of my legs every now and then. Although, with the hand climber, so far I don't feel near the leg discomfort as I did with the Sit/Climb seat. Just my experience.

I like them because I like to sit a lil higher than most so I'm that 1 second closer to standing when I see deer.

I have a set on my S&C and my Assault... I like them. They do not hinder the packability at all.

i've tried a buddy's but didnt really like them, not too much xtra foot room as it is. i'd rather just have the platform and stretch out from that a bit. most of my early sits are really uncomfortable anyway.... till i get tough grrrrrrrrrr =-)

Never saw the need for them personally but if I did think it was something I wanted, Me thinks I'd fabricate something myself and save the cash. Foot rests...not rocket science.

They are only $20.... I doubt you could really "save" any money based on time invested and material cost.

I have them on two of my LW stands, and wish I had them on all of them. I think a lot of the comfortability depends on your physical size and how tall you are. For a guy like Isaiah who is well over 6', they aren't going to do much in the way of comfort. For a guy like me who is 5'11" they work great. IMO they make my sits much more comfortable, and don't hinder packability at all.
