Got any out yet? I think I might put out a couple this year for the first time. I bought a couple drippers that I want to try. I have a spot in mind for one of them, I need to get it going and get a cam on it to see whats using it. Not sure if it will help my hunting out any as I dont rely on scrapes anyway, but more so on travels to and from feeding areas and bedding. Just sounds like fun to pass the time before the season. What ya all doing and using in them? any tips?

I've had one out for afew weeks and have trafic through there , just added another this afternoon and put down two bags of Black Magic Deer Cocain , i put my cameras in front of them so next week we should have some pics , i'll post on here , I'm using Doe Urine in my drippes .

what i put in the scrapes is my own little concoction i'll let out , i take a 32oz plastic Gatoraide bottle put 2oz of amonia in it with 25oz of distilled water and shake it up and let sit for a week , then i add 2oz of Doe Urine and 2oz of Buck Urine to it , You now have alot of Urine for about $12.00 and you can not tell it has been mixed , smells just as strong as in there little bottles , and besides when the urine breaks down it turns into amonia anyways , and the 32oz bottle will last all summer to freshin up the scrapes , when season starts i put fresh urine on them .

I keep this one going year round I freshened it again on May 28 and had this buck there on June 1 This is also where I killed my 2010 bow buck. I use VS1 Borders Crossing Evercalm on the licking branch and I take a leak in the scrape itself :) I need to get a camera there again soon :)

Hoosier, that's an interesting tip. I'm gonna start a few here in a week or so. It'll be my first real attempt.

It works very well , use the mix i mentioned , you dont need anymore amonia than that , after you mix the urine in with it it will smell exactly like 32oz of urine , you will not smell the amonia .

alot of your packaged deer urine hanging on the racks in there eye catching packages that your paying $10.00 an ounce for are exactly that , thined out urine , they dont want you to know that .........i'm not sayin they all do that and who they are but i can assure you some are .

I have 4 mock scrapes going right now. I am using the Buck Fever products in them. I will not use a dripper as of right now. Will probably start to use on close to the start of the season. I am using the BF Gland on the licking branches and haveing GOOD luck with it.

As of today, Yes! I will be using a few different deer scent products to keep the scrapes fresh and not the same deer visiting all the time.

If you're putting a mock scrape out now (I personally think you're a bit too early yet) make sure you watch what you're putting in them. Don't be using doe estrous or rutting buck scents in the summer. Stick with some straight doe urine or buck urine, and use it sparingly.

That is correct, buck fever can be used around the clock and you will get tons of trailcam activity from everything in your neck of the woods.
