I have a covert code black camera. I like it. What I don’t like is AT&T. Majority of the issues that I have had with the camera over the past year is mainly due to AT&T’s network, auto renewal, and customer service. I’m fortunate enough to be able to have a few properties where the camera does work well and has a strong cell signal. But I have other properties where I have tried it and it doesn’t work at all because there is no cell signal.
Even though a wireless camera serves many purposes – scouting, real time updates, surveillance, cutting down on scent, etc, - For me I find that a wireless system is best utilized when needing or wanting real time updates. I’m limited on time to hunt. But because of the wireless system I’m able to pick and choose the best time to hunt more effectively because I know a certain buck is present on the property or the amount of deer movement that has transpired in the last 12 to 24 hours.
I mainly use Lithium-ion batteries. They seem to have the best life span out there between all the options I’ve tired (regular, rechargeable, ion), excluding the use of a solar panel.

Another option is the SPYPOINT LIVE 4GV made for the Verizon Network
