Idk if anyone saw my buck but ive been using rage chisel tips and i have a hoyt charger where im shootimg 60 lb draw amd i guess the broadheads didnt open didnt leave no big cut or nothing, very disapointed with rage still killed my deer but had to shoot it more then once. Anyone have any recomendations on fixed blade goin back to them next year.

I know it's not a fixed blade but I had no problems with the killzones from 62 pounds. Great heads

I use muzzy mx-3 100gr. And I love em I think they fly great and 1 1/4" is enough for me on cut diameter.

I shoot G5 Montecs. Have yet to bag a deer with them, but they shoot very accurately and fly the same as my field tips.

Another vote for Montecs. I used them on a boar hunt last year and shot a deer with them this year awesome blood trails and fly just like a field point.

I shoot the same head @ 65lbs & have BLOWN through every deer I have shot with them. Sounds like you had a bad experience with rage but don't give up on expandables altogether!

I use slick tricks, love em. I wouldn't hesitate to use Muzzy or Montec either, I just like tricks a little better.

I am using some old NAP Thunderheads. They don't make huge holes but they work. Here's a picture from the buck I shot Friday. Went through the shoulder and nailed the heart.

NAP Hellrazors are a fantastic fixed blade broadhead. They are tough as hell, I've punched them through both shoulder blades and did absolutely nothing to the broadhead. I can shoot them into my block target and it doesn't hurt them and I've shot a ton of others into the broadhead side of the target and they all break like they are made from pot metal.

    I'll never use anything else....period.
