I don't have either one of these cams, but I have heard nothing but good things about the M80 black.

I haven't heard anything bad about the M80 also, I really like my DLC Covert cameras. The reveal runs about $140.

I'd get the covert mp6 before I bought the moultrie. Plus your not going to beat the custom service that covert offers. If you hang your ir camera's high like around 6ft the deer are not bothered by them one bit. I have over 20,000 pics this season with only 2 pics of a doe looking at my camera. No spooked bucks either.

Both of your cam choices have blurry night pics most not even view-able as far as looking at racks. Much better choice is the DLC covert line of cams. mp6 are in the 120 range and the red40 150-170 if you look hard enough. If you are a few dollars ahead i bought a black 60 online for 199.00 and it's head and shoulders better then moultrie or primos lines.

I own all three of the coverts and my bet is this will be cam company of the year and for years to come.

I moved my dlc covert red40 today, swapped out sd cards The cam was on it's first set of AA batterys the cam uses 12 of them so far the cam is at 4762 pics and i put the cam back out without it needing a battery change and there just rayovac alkaline batterys.

In my covert edges they only take 4 batteries. I run energizer lithiums and have had them out since may and have took over 7,000 pics with on cam and still on 100%. My red 40 I went ahead and put the 12 in them, I'm over 10,000 pics with one of them and still 100%. I have another one that I only ran 6 lithiums in and I'm up to about 3,000 pics on that one with 100% battery last time I checked it a week ago. The money I spend in batteries has went way down since I got rid of my stealth, primos, moultrie, and wildview cams. You'll only see me running coverts, there's no reason to buy another brand. I have not used the mp6 just because of how perfect the red 40 is. I like my pics to be nice a clear so it was worth it to me to spend the extra money. I've seen alot of pics from the mp6 and they are nice. I think if you look at a trail cam as a total package, trigger speed, day pics, night pics, etc. and customer service covert is well above the competition.

I had a problem with a covert edge cam, I called them got zero hassle, he says send it back I'll send you the new red 40. I said sweet, I sent my cam back on a tuesday and had a brand new red 40 the following tuesday. Beat that!

On the red 40 you can set it on 0. Which there will be a slight delay there I'm sure.

If you like slow trigger and fuzzy pics than moultrie is your cam. If you like clear pics, outstanding battery life, and fast trigger then covert is the way to go. Look at grabagun.com they have the best prices covert cams that I've found. The red 40 is 155 and the black 60 is 194.00.
