Vapor Trail's warranty? (UPDATED WITH SERVICE) Unbelievable!!!! I was just waxing my string after shooting and noticed the string is separating and fraying on a 6 month old string. But anyways... does Vapor Trail have any type of warranty? I hate to pay for a new string I just replaced in March. With only 18 days to go I have some work ahead of me. Especially considering my bow was in perfect tune and ready to go. Hopefully the break in on the new string and tuning goes fast. I'm going to the bow shop on my lunch hour tomorrow and getting it ordered. I'm not a happy guy right now.
I have Vapor Trail sting and cable on my bow. I couldn't remember on the warranity. So I went to VT's website. Say's 30 days. Sorry Man.
30 days warranty on a string, thats unheard of! How are they still in business! Sorry to hear that Brad, talk about a bummer! You really spent a lot of time this past off season, researching and changing your set up to get it right where ya want it, now this 2 weeks before the opener! Sorry bro!
Hey this is Mike from Vaportrail. I know the season is near and we are changing our warrenty to 2 years! Please call me and I will get you all taken care of with out any exspence to you! 763-862-8870 we know that 30 is not near enough time so dont go off of the website. Also you can email me [email protected] but it is faster just to call me and I will take care of you and be shooting in no time! Thanks Mike
Good to see this is resolved. I have Vapor Trails strings on 3 of my bows, and they're tops in my book, GREAT quality, GREAT price, can't hardly go wrong. One bow has over 10K shots on it and is still going strong, no issues with stretch or wear.....
Is gibblet/bucknasty still in business? I haven't heard anything about him in a while, but I replaced my string in the summer of 08 and they're still going.
Okay talked to Mike and he is going to help me out based on my word alone. Fantastic service. he tells me I will have a new string on Friday. Thanks also goes out to Ben for getting me in touch with the right people.
Glad things worked out to get you back up and running. Mike and the rest of the crew at VT really does put forth an effort to put out a quality product at a good price and then backs it with service. The most important thing is that we get you back up an shooting for the coming season.
You certainly can't complain about service like that. I was about to reply with that's why I buy Octane strings now, for the two year warranty. Anyhow, glad to hear they are taking care of you.
I did notice the phrase on their site, so I'm pretty sure it's just a humorous coincidence. http://www.vaportrailarchery.com/strings.asp
