Give me a few and I'll take a few pics. Basically it does everything for you and you just decide what you want to watch and choose categories to get there. It's like a themed program I guess. Rather than adding individual sources for certain things you have them all for the most part broken down into catgories.
Here's a few images of a build. Most put background images and themes to them. It really takes the hassle out. You choose your category, then down below each category is another scrollable line of sources to go through. There are many different builds out there, some made more for a specific device and some have different versions of the same build for different devices. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
I use a NVIDIA shield, which is much like a smart phone layout. Download Kodi as an app and then install a wizard to get a build. Takes out all of the guesswork. If you mess something up, delete kodi, redownload and start over fresh. No hacking required Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
So the wife is trying to watch America's Got Talent and we cannot get it in HD and the frigging thing stops to buffer every 5 minutes....am I missing something? This isn't great fro new stuff, is it... Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
I'm assuming this is the Easy Advanced Settings Add-on and adjustments. If so, that should fix it. Worked for me.
I actually deleted everything and started over with only 1 add-on. Maybe your method is easier though?
If anyone is considering this, just buy the regular Firestick and follow the YouTube instructions on how to install Modi with tvaddons....you will save $50.00 for 10 minutes of work.... Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Mine must have updated since I last used it and I can't find any of the same apps or addons now. It used to bring up a whole list and now I have to search through all kinds of stuff for some reason. Anyone notice the same thing and if so, how did you figure it out?
That's how I did it. It's very easy to install by following the Youtube videos. (The application is Kodi) The best add-on is Exodus.
Alright guys. I'm a kodi newbie. I just downloaded kodi 17.3 krypton on my firestick. I have a couple of questions. 1. How do I access kodi when I turn on my firestick? 2. Now that I have kodi. How do I get to watch movies and hunting shows? Do I need to do add ons or ?? Thanks in advance. I tried adding exodus but it isn't working.
Kodi will be in a list of apps on the stick once you open kodi it has it's own menu just go thru the menu and no need to download anything else
Ares is the best build I have found. It's easy to take a build and then adapt it to eliminate thinks you don't use (ie music news sports...) If you don't watch something get rid of it. No point in it constantly updating and chewing up bandwidth.
Showbox apk is great for Android users it's my backup and 1000000000 times better than Netflix and Hulu
