I am just about out of my favorite cover scent Mohrs Earth Cover Scent, and I was curious if anyone has a recipe that smells like a earth scent. I have already tried leaves from decidous trees and to me it smells like tea. I have also tried cedar and pine, but where I hunt there are not those species and I want to get that genuine earth smell. So let me know if you have a good one.

I have tried it with leaves but maybe if you take some dirt and twigs and then boil it in water it might smell like what your trying to get.

This is just a guess and I may not be correct on this.

Wash your clothes with baking soda and then hang them outside to dry. After they are done drying put them in a scent free garbage bag with a pine tree branch, sticks, and leaves and leave them until you are going to wear them. I used to do this when I was young and had less money.

Step 1: put on your camo
    Step2: roll in the dirt

    You are welcome

Ingredients for Scent Killer. spay on clothes and let it dry out side: also this stuff will get rid of fish smell off your hands

16 oz. (2 cups) Peroxide ( yes, I use the brown bottled stuff)

16 oz. (2 cups) Distilled Water or water from a dehumidifier

    ¼ cup baking soda

1 oz. On non-scented shampoo (I use Hunters Specialties green shampoo)
(Or adjust amounts to whatever size you make accordingly)

Let sit for several days (1 gallon milk jug works good with lid loose) This recipe is also good for removing blood from your hands in the field after dressing your critter! No dried blood, presents a better image!
