I am planning a trip out to the Wheeling, WV area in a few weeks. I put out my trial camera's over a year ago and because of family commitments and work I have never been able to go back to retrieve them. I was really hoping to hunt the property a lot this year and had a few trips planned during the summer to put up stands and cut shooting lanes but the trip was cancelled. I am hoping to go get my camera's and get a few days of hunting in. Just wondering if anyone from that area is having any luck. I will be hunting 500 private acres just south of Wheeling in Dallas, WV.

Guess we don't have anyone in the area. My trip is planned. Decided to blow off the family this year for Thanksgiving. Will be hitting the road Wednesday afternoon and returning Sunday. Really hoping to put a few doe's on the ground on this property. And finally glad to be getting my trail camera's back after a year and a half!

I have some neighbors that I am going to try to contact in the next week or so to get an idea of what they are seeing but either way I am just looking forward to getting to the property for a few days!

Same here. Going Fri. and Sat. It's supposed to rain which sucks, but I'm still really pumped.

Thanksgiving weekend can't come soon enough for this trip. I am going to ride out with my co-workers so I don't won't have much expenses which will be nice. And I very possibly will stay in the stand from the time I arrive till the time I leave!!! They are hunters but they can't stay still. I just hope they find a spot and stay at it. Otherwise they will walk the entire 500 acres before lunch.
