But it is not versatile. Cant do small and big arrows with same jig. Cant even do 4" with it. Its a specialized jig.

A person at home needs versatility in one jig. Most don't want to buy several jigs.

That was my point and you can get a pretty good helical with a bitz with a helical clamp.

I can understand that for sure and I didn't mean to get you fired up haha. I love talking tools. I like having the EZ-Mini for Blazer's since it does such a good job and then use my other fletching jig for any other size fletching that I forgot not everybody is a tool junky like me :).

Not fired up. I am a tool junkie as well and want the best I can buy or make. I just like for people to be informed when they make these decisions. I would hate to see someone get a jig like the mini and find out it won't work on their cross bow bolts or sons jazz arrows. Then they have to buy another one specific to that. Then they have as much invested as the bitz and still can't fletch a 4" feather.

I also had a jo jan years ago and hated that thing. Sold it and got a bitz and haven't needed another jig since. :D

In my defense, I did and do only recommend it for the Blazers so I am not leading people astray. I use a Jo-Jan for all other styles as I said in my first post on this topic.

I know you did. But you did leave out the part about big shafts and small shafts.:D

I do a lot of different sizes. With 2 kids starting archery at 2, they have used about every size imagineable. Also with me shooting everything from tiny carbons to big aluminum and carbons for competition, I'm glad I listened to my shop owner and went with the Bitz . It was the only one I ever needed.

Same with me. No problems and works great. Could not be easier.

You got me there :). I also use my other jig for aluminum or wood shafts.
