Anyone find the number of road signs/law books odd and depressing?

I was sitting and doing some paperwork the other day when I noticed about 8-9 road signs in my visual plane. I was in a bank parking lot looking out over some smaller streets. It also got me to thinking about the number of law books we as humans need to govern ourselves. Are we that pathetic as humans that we need to be spoon fed everything? I swear once again, Darwin has been in a constant state of motion in his grave over the past 40-50 years.

Brett, did you guys get copies of NHTSA's "DWI Field Sobriety Testing Manual" in the academy? Those bad boys are 2-3 inches thick!! What a waste of trees.
