Our morning weather calls for 43 degrees and a SSW wind.. I have a great place on public land for this wind. AM is all I got tommorrow.
I think that I have a good chance tomorrow morning.... it really all depends on how the wind speed is tonight. If the wind stays strong, my stand is going to be great tomorrow as the deer will be bedded in the x-mas tree patch behind me. If the wind dies down, the morning doesn't look as promising but the afternoon should be good... I finally get to hunt a section of the woods that has been my best spot for years (the landowner put it up for sale a few months back and just took it back off the market last week)!
Alright im out then, i have to see the wind tomorrow because i only have a couple places to hunt because of my limited mobility right now.
Oh ill be trying, im just hoping for a SW wind and ill be set, Also a north or north west wind would do just fine.
I'm going to say by Monday night I will have a doe down. I can hunt Fri eve, Sat morn, monday morn & eve.
I'll call it. I've killed a doe every time I've set this stand this year, two from it last week. Going back tomorrow for some herd management.
I'm out for tomorrow, we are supposed to get 3-4 inches or more of rain starting tonight and going thru Friday morning. But I'm betting on 2 does down this weekend on my farm. Me and Diamond Don are going nanny whacking. Unless a buck walks in front of one of us first.
