when taking down stands the other day i took with me my old youth model 20 gauge single shot... this was my first gun when i was 9 or 10... i use these gun for squirrel hunting also becuase it is short and light weight when walking through the mountains......

ive been thinking about selling a few guns and buying one of the stoeger side by side or over/unders, coach gun and the condor outback with the 20 inch barrel in 20 gauge.. they look like cool and fun little guns that would be easily totted in the woods... only one person i know has a stoeger and its the semi auto... any one have any experience with the brand or particular models??

benelli know owns them so i guess they cant be but so bad.

I don't own one, but I've shot the Nova-clone (can't remember the name) that Stoeger makes. No complaints on it, but its pretty hard to screw up a pump gun IMO. ;) I know a few guys that have the 2000's and they like them.

Nothing BS about an 870. But I'll probably always own one....."just because".

A boy could get one for his 12th birthday.........and he'd really never "need" another gun.

I don't have a double barell that they have, but I do have a M2000. I've had it about 5 years now and haven't had a single problem. My dad wishes he would have bought a M2000 instead of his $1200 Benelli ;). I bought mine brand new in Max-4 for $400.

My dad has the 2000. Seems to shoot fine. The only problem is the choke system. They really screwed that up by not making flush mounted chokes. Winchester is getting ready to release the SXP in March and I will own one.

I own a Stoeger 12 gauge over/under. My dad gave it to me after he bought it and didn't like it.

It is one of the least expensive over/under guns on the market and performs ok for what he paid for it. It has killed the pheasants that I have shot at with it. It is not a bad gun, but then again I don't own a better o/u to compare it to.

I have their P350 pump and I friggin hate that thing. I've had nothing but trouble with it. I had to send it back to them 5 times before I could even get a box of shells through it. It double feeds all the time.

Conversely, my brother has the M2000 and loves it. He says it's the most reliable thing he's ever owned.
