Just wondering how many people are getting excited for the new Mathews bows that are about to come out. I really want to see what the Mission line has come up with since they have come along way in the archery world. Any thought on what you expect from Mathews and Mission?
Im very curious. Might be in the market for a new bow and Mathews is always my first choice, so well see.
I'll be very curious to see as well. I'm a speed freak, so I'm hoping for something with speed to match PSE's line up!!
I was getting too anxious waiting and i ended up buying a Chill-R last week Still excited to see the lineup!
Excited here as well!!! Haven't shot anything from them that has made me want to get rid of my Heli-m so hopping this year may be that year! Considering a dual cam as well over my solo cam. We will see pretty soon!
I waited for years for Mathews to come out with something better than my Switchback XT. It never happened so last year I bought a Carbon Spyder 34. I'm not a fan of their extremely short bows or the AVS cam system that can be a pain to tune. That being said, I'm probably gonna be ordering a new Xpedition when they come out. I know someone who works for them and he gave me the scoop on the new models....they're gonna be sweet!
How can one get excited when they are last to the dog & pony show? Hard to get excited over nothing....
I'm waiting to see what Mathews comes out with before I buy that Hoyt Nitrum. That new Hoyt is pretty sweet.
I know they're discontinuing the chill so they should have something in the 340+ IBO. I'm guessing they're going to try to compete with the hoyt speed bows with a 350 IBO and we know they can, so they might replace the mr5 this year with a new 360 IBO bow. Just my guess but I could be completely wrong. And they're also discontinuing the creed so probably another single cam with a 7 inch brace height and a 30-32 inch ata and a 330 IBO. I also heard something about a new riser but that could be a rumor.
I'm not one to bash Mathews even though I personally shoot a Hoyt. My son shoots a Creed and I really like it. Here's what I've heard and this could all be rumor and conjecture. However, it's from a person who I wouldn't think would talk about stuff, just for the sake of talking. Here's what he said. Don't get rid of your existing Mathews. They've made the new bows smaller axle to axle, and the Mathews guys who've seen them, don't like them. I don't know if any of this is true or not, but since you guys are chomping at the bit, I figured I'd give you something to be ticked off about.
