I'd say go for it! Cant see how you could ever regret it. I would also suggest some foreign travel. Hopping the Carribbean Islands would be an awesome way to spend the winter.

This sounds like the greatest man alive. Does he still live in his truck? If so, can he get Internet there so he can post updates?

Or is he old and domesticated like the rest of us?

You can't hijack a thread that's well over a year old so don't worry about it.

Dubs is living it up in WY where he is a king among peasants. Pay no attention to him.

I did it when I was young and free. LOL I went into the Army and visited such exotic places as Hawaii, Kentucky, Texas, Georgia and of course Vietnam. LOL

I thought I taught you better than that... girlfriends are highly overrated and if you don't have one, you'll have a LOT more $$$

You know, even with a wife and son, there have been times driving home that I have thought about just passing our exit and keep going west until I decide to stop. I love my family but there has always been something inside me that has told me to move west. I never have b/c of responsibilities, but that doesn't mean that I don't think about it.

Do I wish I were in your shoes? Hell no. No offense, but I love having my family. Do I often wish I really had the choice to do what you are thinking of doing? Every day.
