Well I took my first polygraph today. I have no idea wether I passed of failed. I pride myself on being able to go for long periods of time mentally and physically but I can tell you, after 3.5 hours of being asked every question under the sun, I felt like I had run 10 miles and had been repeatedly slapped across my face. I was exhausted. Any of you guys ever take a polygraph?

Welcome to the polygraph......this is what it felt like in pics.

I have taken a lot of polygraphs. And I have passed them all. They are very mentally challenging but thats what they are meant for. To see how you answer the same question asked 10 different ways. A lot of administrators acutally have the ability to fail you whether or not you pass the machines test. You know they say that you can beat the machine but you cant beat the real thing.

That is a tremendous amount of discretionary power to give one indivdual. I am always weary of awarding one person that much power in a process that is very complex. Anyways, it was an adventure today. I am glad I took it and feel I did my best.

    Last---good luck buddy!

Told ya brother.... If I go the career route I am hoping to go, I will be taking the TS "life style" poly's. I have heard they make the police one's (which I have had) look like childs play.
