Has anyone ever been walking in or out when it's dark and your flash go off on your camera because a deer or something else is nearby. I don't have IR on my cameras and when it takes a pic at night it lights up the sky.

Just figured it might kind of startle you if your 50 yards from your camera heading to your stand and the woods start lighting up all of a sudden.

I personally have not, but my husband was walking out Saturday night and he forgot about his camera. Said he was seeing dots the whole walk.

Yeah I had a white flash camera down in my swamp years back, a trail cam flash going off that can be seen from the road draws a lot of attention

I was driving by one of my spots after a late work day and saw the flash go off and as I got closer to the camera a doe crossed the road in front of me and sure enough when I went back to check I had a pic of that doe. Was kinda cool but woulda been alot cooler if it woulda been a big shooter.

I was getting ready to leave our polaris ranger and I saw the flash from one of our cameras go off about 400 yards away. I jokingly sent a text to my cousin saying it was probably a hit-lister and sure enough when we checked the camera it was...

Yep. I saw one 300yds out two years ago. I was at the top of the property looking down an open field to a section of woods where I had a camera over a mock scrape when it went off. Checked it later and it was just a little guy.

I used to keep a white flash S40 over my plot during the season, and often times while I was hunting, I would watch them react to the flash.

Yep, not only that, but I have seen the flash go off from my stand several times too.

Happens all the time. Kind of nice on a morning sit because it gives me a heads up if there's anything in the area.
