I just watched a show on the Outdoor channel about cowboy action shooting.... Looks like it would be fun. Not so sure about the "outfits" they wear though :busted:

Anyone ever tried it? I know a local guy who is into it... May have to go to a shoot to check it out?

Yeah, this was the revolver, rifle and shotgun. They were on the ground not horse back.

I just wouldn't be able to do the dress up that they do... You are saying they have to have a "cowboy" name as well? This is looking like more than I would want to get into :deer:

My mother-in-law and step-dad-in-law  are members of it. Funny story is the first time I met them was after one of their shoots. We meet them at a restaurant and afterwords I asked my would be wife what the deal was with the outfits. She had to assure me they didn't always dress like that.

I have only seen it on TV, but the Sportsmans club I belong to is pretty big into it. They have a whole little "town" built & everything. One of these days I should attend a match, because it does look rather neat on TV.
