I'm spending too much time at work studying maps and planning my hunts.

Nope not at all. Stands are already in place have been there for years. Cameras up year round. I guess I don't get whipped up because I am doing deer stuff all year long.

Hunting public land I have to take my stands down, cameras are always up though and constantly looking for new spots. One of the main gamelands I hunt is over 5000 acres. Getting excited for October

Had trouble sleeping last night because I was thinking about the jon boat upgrades I'm doing.

Deer hunting rarely keeps me awake. I fall asleep think about big bruisers walking in at 20 yards.

I spent last night at one of my properties that is 30 mins away and when I got home it took a hot minute before I could crash.

That's a big problem these days, everybody thinks pills are the answer. Just saying.

Well drinking a 12 pack of beer is frowned upon as a sleep aid for daily use.

I don't get worked up over it. I enjoy it, but don't obsess over it.

I've been known to fall asleep while big bruisers are walking in at 20 yards.

When I pulled the card with this guy[IMG] I was up late just watching the videos over and over it was like he had just stepped in front of me at 20 yards broadside!!! If I could post videos I'd show you the bachelor group that's hanging out at my plot!!!!

My main public hunting grounds are about 50,000 acres. The season is three months long. I try to stay consistent and and sane until the rut...then I pretty much forego sleep and sanity. And still fail.....
