I know my buddy that's a CO and some of his work friends are throwing a fit about that being changed. The other day I was having a pretty heated, from them, discussion about that. I laughed the whole time. I don't really seeing them changing the regulations regarding carrying concealed while hunting though. They'll try and say it'll make people shoot deer with handgun instead of bow or something. Don't make much difference to me either way were I live I do it anyway along with a lot of people around. I'm almost always armed when headed out to woods.
w00t!! Just checked my application today and it's now changed to "Active" status. According to the illinoiscarry.com site most guys are getting them within a week or so after changing to "Active" status. For reference for those still waiting, I submitted 2/8 with fingerprints and was application #47,2XX.
