I have been getting this magazine for a couple of years now. Thing of it is, I never signed up for it, inquired about it, or anything. I have found it is a pretty good publication and I do enjoy it but I find it strange that I've been receiving it for two years now for free. Anyone else get this magazine for free?

How do you inquire about it? I've been looking for it but can't seem to find it. I'd like to get it paid or not.

Are you a member of the IBO? It comes with membership.

Most hunting magazines are struggling to maintain subscribers these days and need circulation in order to continue selling advertising, so they'll partner with various groups, organizations and promotional companies to give "free" subscriptions to people. I'd guess this is what's going on, as buckeye alluded to.

I get it, but I pay for it. I think it comes free with a membership in the Pope & Young Club, too.

Not a member of any groups. Justin's answer makes a lot of sense to me. I know that many printed publications are struggling for subscribers so I guess they are inventing ways to keep their revenue.

Bowhunting World is published by Grand View Media Group if that helps you out.

When I re-upped my subscription to Petersen's Bowhunting I believe it also came with a scrip to Bowhunting World.. I could be wrong though.
