...funny? I mean, advertising fast trigger speeds, then showing images implying that the were consecutively taken, when it's obvious that they were taken hours, even days apart? Seem funny to me Anyone else notice this?
I saw that pic and tried to figure out what was on the ground for the longest time but I guess your right that its was taken later. I Hate false advertising
Here you go this may change you mind on your concerns. If I had this Camtrakker MK-10 set on even a 30 second delay I would have missed most of this series. I am so happy with my camtrakkers that I sound like a sales person but I am not. My favorite feature is the option of setting it with a 1 second delay for day time shots. If you have any questions about them please ask me. I have 5 and wish I had 10.
For some reason I do not like video????? I can not expain it. I will not even watch them anymore. Another point on the Camtrakker view about the fast speed and the confusion I imagine they were showing catching the bird in flight coming in to the view. I can not speak for them. I have talked to them on many occasions and I positive there was no intention to try to decieve anyone. Fast to me is recovery for the next shot, fast to them may be catching a bird??? I have pictures of deer on the run. If it is low light the quaility of a running deer is not as good as still shots but if it is a flash or what I would call day time you are hard pressed to beat them. I really like MADE IN THE USA!
I'm sure they are great cameras, but I'm also sure that the flipping of images back and forth making the bird look in flight was no mistake. Just seems to me that they could have used better photos to honestly illistrate their point. Besides, catching a crow or raven on a carcass has nothing to do with trigger speed...
to me it is like any other ad pop up you have something with action to catch the eye like they have and a saying, the birds are flying at different angles and I even think they are different species of birds. I know the guy whot took those 2 pictures and he told me what they were but I can not remember. But I have met the owner off Camtrakker and talked in depth with him. He is a Viet Nam Vetran with extreme honerable values. He loves making cams. In fact when I started buying them they had a 5 second delay because he felt no one really wanted or needed a faster cam. I talked him into the one second delay and I love it. I am not trying to start anything please understand that. I am the type that will defend a friend if I know (or think I know) different. I could be wrong. He told me he had great conversations with people associtated with this forum that is why he is advertizing here and helping pay the bills (I assume he pays for ads) to keep this great forum running. And me I own home brews, and 3 other brands of commerical cams none of which I like as much as my MK-10 Camtrakker's. I will shut up and do what I love most...Taking pictures.
My trail cams have 20/20 still. I open them and see what's there. LOL How in the world did we ever kill a deer without trail cams, food plots, bait piles, scent lok, scent killer spray, grunt tubes, rattling horns, electronic wind detectors, mock scrapes, doe pee, buck pee, people pee bottles, ozone machines etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc. We must have just been real dumb and lucky because back in those days..... the deer herds were a WHOLE lot smaller. I'm such a better hunter knowing I can always go buy me a magic recipe if I get old and senile. I know... I'm not really hunting... I'm wandering. LOL P.S. We used to kill them too. We never harvested a deer before. I still kill mine.
