I love the USA, but couldn't care less about soccer. In fact, I'd be more likely to be caught watching women's curling during the Olympics than I would be watching World Cup Soccer. Curling is way more exciting than soccer to me.

I hope the USA does well but I won't be watching. Soccer just doesn't do it for me.

I am a USSF Grade 8 Ref. I just red card the first kid who flops and it stops real quick. I now have that reputation to red card floppers, it's the refs fault for allowing that crap to happen.

Exactly this. A red card is excessive imo but does get the point across. A yellow card is necessary unless warned once prior. it would stop quickly if this approach happened.

What a game. The US was sloppy for about 85 minutes, but they made the most out of the other 15 minutes. A must win against Portugal on Sunday, because they will not beat Germany.

That was a hell of a game last night. If that did not excite any "on the fence" soccer fans, I don't know what would

It's amazing how an injury can effect how the team plays and the a smart substitute fired the whole game back up! I really like what Klinsmann has done with this team.

Some just don't understand a real sport these days.

Soccer just has never done anything for me.

It's a girls sport but I admit to watching during the World Cup due to the lack of better sports to watch.

Soccer is the Jeff Gordon of sporting events, and soccer fans are the Justin Beiber's of sports fans, need I say more.

Probably the worst sporting event to watch. I cant stand to watch it, understand it, or want to... ever. I'd rather watch my toenails grow or paint dry.

Soccer is even less exciting than golf. And apparently there are no breaks even. How would you like to be watching a game and have the only score in the entire game occur while you were in the restroom?

Soccer = YAWN. Zero respect for a sport where constant faking of injuries are a part of the game. LAME.

Actually I do have respect for the conditioning the players have. To be in that good of shape and run that long is impressive. Not as impressive as hockey or lacrosse but still admirable.

I think Conan O'Brien said it best, "American's will stop pretending to like soccer when players stop pretending to be injured".

That can happen in any sport, except basketball.
