And what have your posts shown?

You try to compare it to football or to hitting a baseball, then you speak about the demographic of soccer fans. You have yet to give a legit reason as to why someone should not watch soccer.

There's more to a soccer game than just kicking the ball around. Just like in any of sport - offense, defense, positioning, possession, and just raw skill have an impact on the game.

If there is any sporting event worthy of blissful ignorance, world cup soccer has to be it.

So which teams in the finals? I'm going to say Germany vs Argentina. Would have said Netherlands but their performance against costa rica was either pathetic or just unlucky. Haven't decided yet lol.

I picked Brazil and Argentina to make it so I will stick with those two. Brazil still has a shot but somebody has to step up.

Netherlands didn't look that great against Costa Rica but if not for a couple of inches, they would've won 3-0.

Both games will be good and I'll be happy to see any of the four make it to the final.

Ya they should have scored several times. I don't think brazil has enough to win with Silva and Neymar out. I just don't see it unless the refs are one sided.

I didn't get to see that game, what happened to Silva?

You can never rule out the possibility of bad refs, especially if the host country is playing.

Silva is out due to accumulation of yellow cards. Idiot ran into the goalie when he was punting the ball.

I haven't been watching because I got busy at work but I just checked the score...HOLY CRAP!

Germany has looked like the best team all tourney to me. I think they are the clear favorites.

Sucks that Brasil had to play without Neymar and Silva though.

They were out of it as soon as Neymar and Silva were ruled out.

The US only lost 1-0, so I guess we can hang our hats on that.

Germany isn't THAT good. Brazil embarrassed themselves. Losing Silva and Neymar sucked but those 2 guys didn't get them to the semifinals. It felt like I was watching a terrible high school game.

Germany obviously didn't get the memo that futbol doesn't use the American version of football scoring system.

    Yikes.
