I shouldn't speak for @LittleChief, but having been to his camp in MO a couple of times, it would make a cool episode of BHOD if someone on the team showed up to hunt and hang out.

It would be even better if we showed up unannounced.

I’d have no problem with that but if you arrive unannounced you had better be towing or hauling sleeping accommodations.

I’d be kind of worried about the quality of content of an episode of BHOD shot where I hunt in Mark Twain National Forest. As you, Eric and a couple of other members here know, deer movement is hit or miss where I hunt, but I guess it’s that way in most places.

I know what would probably happen though. There are a few legitimate Boone and Crockett bucks there and one of the BHOD guys would kill one or catch one on film and suddenly my little neck of the woods would be crawling with hunters.

Nah, those public land giants aren’t seen very often. They have a really good education when it comes to hunters.

They would just have to do a "deep fake" video and film someone else killing an 80" inch basket six point for the footage of the show and edit that in while pretending one of the big bucks was killed in a different part of the state. It took until last morning of my second year there to see, much less blow it on one of the big bucks there.

If @Justin shows up unannounced, he just has to hang his hammock downwind of the crapper.

Yeah and leave his lawnmower at home. I don't need that kind of competition.

    Now we're talking!

I haven't heard about elk yet. Out of 3 of us so far, 1 guy got a mule deer tag.

Just got the email, I was denied my elk tag. Knew I wouldn't get it, but always worth a shot.

Drew my Kansas tag, waiting on our moose draw this Saturday. Doubtful but one can always hope.

I drew a Kansas archery tag again this year, this will be my 22nd year in a row bowhunting in Kansas.

Also had 5 points this year going into the Iowa draw but couldn't find a lease I liked so I just purchased another point for next year.

My plan was to hopefully draw WY antelope and deer this year, but those plans got buried... Applied for MT Pronghorn, waiting to see what happens with that. If all else fails, I will at least hit Ohio in the rut, it's been a few years since I have been out there.. I'll be excited no matter where I end up!

Not sure, but I’ll let you know.
Drew second choice in Colorado. Unfortunately it was 1st rifle. Didn’t think there was any chance of drawing that one.
