Jeff, what all is involved in obtaining a passport? Where in Mexico would you suggest? Where still pretty open right now, but we also realize the sooner we book the better... We will be going in August...
I would also look into the Dominican Republic, specifically the Grand Bavaria Pallazo, also all inclusive. I won a trip there in 06 through work for Lisa and I, and when the company was booking travel it was actually cheaper than Cancun. The facilities were great, food was good, and everything was unbelievably cheap when you left the resort to venture out for some shopping or trips.
I was in St Thomas but many many moons ago. I thoroughly enjoyed walking around the island enjoying the scenery and the beaches. It's probably changed a lot since then but Nassau Bahamas and St Thomas are two places that will always be very fond memories for me.
