I just get a bad feeling that something is going to go down. It just seems too isolated and too close to terrorist heavy areas. Not sure if I trust Russian security that much. With that said, I'm really hoping nothing happens because I love the Winter Olympics.
Absolutely. I believe there is a high probability something will be attempted and fairly likely it will succeed. As you said, I have no faith in Putin and his security forces.
Hopefully it all works out....one thing about the Russians. They won't be shy about making some suspects disappear ...preemptively.
I told my wife this same thing a couple nights ago. I fear that there's a good chance of something very bad happening this year. Let's hope not.
Yes worried for sure. Its sad because the Olympics, even during times of war, are suppose to be peaceful events. Hope we are just being silly in worrying.
Yup that thought crosses my mind every time I see a commercial for the Olympics. Hopefully all of our gut feelings are completely wrong.
I share the same worries. Interesting that due to isolation and corruption, it will be the least attended winter Olympics by Americans since pre-world war II. Maybe that is a good thing......
I'm just glad a lot of people are aware of the situation over there. Watching from the couch might be in everyone's best interest this year.
I will be watching and hoping that no headlines other than sports outcomes are made from these Olympics. I am nervous for those attending to participate or watch.
