I'm just starting to get into small game hunting with my bow. I thought i was about time to put down the old ruger 10/22 and try to harvest some of those furry little animals with the bow. I was Just looking for some tips on what points are the best to use. What the lethal yardage is and so on. So i was just wondering if anybody else does this.
I love small game hunting with my bow! I use Judo points, ace hex heads and G5 SGH on my arrows! Some guys use old broadheads if dogs aren't being used!
Yea i used to use judo points but i just made to switch to G5 SGH to get a little more stopping power. I use these instead of old broadheads and blunts becasue of the easy arrow recovery. I was wondering if any body has had any luck with flu flus. i made one earlier to day and tested it out but it just seemed to spiral out of control after like five yards. Here is a pic of it.
I shot at a ground hog once that was in the food plot I was hunting over, I missed!:smash: But no really, I would like to get into it.
