Guys have been betting on him playing to prove everyone wrong since he came into the league last year. He is a first round pick, they gave him a ton of money and they really really suck....yeah i think he might start before the end of the year too. Right about the time Orton gets killed, or they go 3 or 4 games below .500

Same BS that is pointless in this conversation...

No one is saying he won't start.

No one says he doesn't try hard.

No one says he isn't a good person.

No one said anything about his stripper girlfriend that is obviously a rebound from his rough break up with Urban, and an attempt to fool people into thinking he likes girls. I'm not one to spread rumors, but I heard the tears weren't from the losing the Alabama. It was because Urban told him things were over.

Once again, judging the guy based soley on his talent and ability to play QB in the NFL is considered "hating". C'mon guys, some of you are the same ones crying about the wusification of America. I give up. Everyone is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think everyone with "heart" should be a starting player in the NFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now if you will excuse me, I have to pass out a trophy to every kid on a last place T ball team. They all had heart.

If Tebow is gay, and yes, there is nothing wrong with that...there are plenty of guys on this board willing to...ahh, nevermind.

Nope, not sick of him at all. I wish him the very best. Success or not in the NFL is irrelevant, Tebow is a winner in so many ways it is unreal.

As for my analysis of him as an NFL quarterback, I have no credentials to speak about his mechanics, nor have I watched him take more than 15-20 snaps on ESPN highlights. So in a nutshell, I don't know crap about how he is progressing or what potential he possesses.

Thank you very much. Everyone else suddenly seems to have the mechanics of an NFL QB figured out. Tebows fate is doomed based on the sudden expert analysts predictions across the country. Some guy sitting behind a desk at ESPN says he'll never make it in the NFL because of his mechanics and now everyone sees he has bad mechanics? What if that same guy was saying how great his mechanics were going to translate to the NFL? Hmmmmmmmmmmm... this thread may be a Tebow is going to be the greatest of all time.

Btw, I don't especially care for the guy, nor do I dislike him. Just another player to me.

I guess what I'm getting at is this:

    1) He goes about things the right way. IMO.

    2) I don't care how you throw, pass, run, etc - if you get the job done that's all that matters. He certainly does that (for the most part).

I love Tim Tebow and I hope he succeeds in the NFL.

In any age where professional athletes are paid millions of dollars and looked up to as role models everyone should admire Tebow and what he stands for. He's a good guy, a great role model, has a good work ethic and has acheived more than anyone on this board or any other place where he's being bashed.

    Haters gonna hate.

I'm sure he is a great guy, and I would certainly love for him to impregnate my wife, it's just funny how there is no middle ground with Tebow. Either you think he is Jesus resurrected, or you hate him and hope he dies.

I, for one, believe he is Jesus, and will be leaving for my pilgrimage to Gainesville next week to meditate in his locker, and walk the path of his parking spot to Meyers office.

I have also sent him numerous letters with naked pictures of my wife, but everytime I just receive a piece of paper with the word "Icky" and a smiling face winking at me in crayon.

    LMAO,

Jesus no, a person with some good core values, and work ethic. Maybe because he's not a selfish pompas ass like most athletes these days some give him to much credit.

Simple question Hook, would you want Tebow as a friend? Team mate?

I would say yes to both.

I think there's plenty of people out there who are rooting for him, like me, who don't think he's Jesus reborn. As previously stated, I think he's a good person who can be a great role model for millions of kids who want to grow up to be football stars and there's no reason for all the hate.

Your comments are ridiculous and clearly show that your dislike for the guy is more personal than anything. And my guess is that's it's not because of anything that he personally did, but rather just because he's got a following of people who like him. It doesn't matter what he does or how well he plays, chance are you'd still find some reason to rip on him and chances are it will pertain to his religious beliefs or past successes.

Like I said, haters gonna hate. You're to Tim Tebow what Peta is to hunting.

I think the lack of responses from most of the forum prove that there is plenty of middle ground ... I for one appreciate what he stands for but refuse to comment on how his NFL career will end up ... if he gets busted doing something wrong, then it just shows that he is as human as any of us .... he is just a man, but one that holds his faith out for those to see ... which is where I believeost of the animosity comes from

I'm sure I would like his intensity on the field, and his desire to win, but I also have a feeling that same intensity could get a bit annoying at times. So I could put up with him as a team mate, but I doubt we would hang out after practice. I would probably hang out with him at parties though, just so I could scoop up the chicks that he turns down so he could "play Madden with his boys".

You nailed that Justin! I root for Tim to do well, he's been a good person and does a lot for people. He loves the Lord and isn't afraid to say so. I commend him for that. From a football point of view, he definitely has some work to do on his accuracy and slow release due to poor mechanics... Time will tell, he seems to be working very hard on his mechanics. IF he gets that straight, he's going to be tough to deal with when it comes to other aspects he brings to the field.

    This is all true.

I just think it is funny will come to defend Tebow if someone says one ill word about him. I like mocking it. I know, it's sad what boredom can do to a man.

EXACTLy on Shed's post and his quote of Justin's thoughts... BOTH are spot on.

I find it interesting that the original post that started this thread begain with ... I can't stand the MAN." Not football player, but "man"...

    Pretty telling there.

I guess I might as well come clean too. This may shock some people here, but I have been taking the anti-tebow stance for the sole purpose of getting people worked up. It sort of happened by accident one day, and the response was so amusing, I kind of kept it going. It made sense to me when he was at Florida, and it was Florida fans who would quickly come to his defense. I was a little surprised how many others jumped on the train once he became a pro. I am glad it turned out this way though. I guess its one of those topics where you either for or against. If there is a middle ground, it is very slim. One slightly non positive comment about the guy, and you become a hater.

Boredom has always been my downfall. When I get bored, I find ways to amuse myself. I sincerely apologize for my actions. As a peace offering, I would like to send all the Tebow lovers a life size poster of the guy, if there is any room left on your bedroom walls. PM me addresses.

Well, it feels good to get that off my chest.
