I shoot broadheads only. I don't hunt with field points, so I have no reason to practice with them.;) JMHO

Put the BH's I'm using on the arrows they will be on. Shot them from 20, 30, 40 and 50 yds. They hit where they were supposed to. Put sharp BH's on those arrows and put them in the quiver. That was it for shooting BH's.

What kind of target do you use?

My practice Rage's are shredding my target, like huge chunks are starting to blow out and I had like 3-4 pass thru's the other day at 30 yds.

My Glendale buck is going the same route, they shred the foam layers.

These are glen del bucks on our broadhead range at my archery club, Ojibwa Bowhunters! We have 14 stations on this course, also have 2 more field point courses with mckenzie targets, those are nice targets!! As you can see, my 600gr arrow really hits em hard! The Longbow I'm shootin is 48#, just a fun bow to shoot!

To be honest, I have shot less broadheads this year than in years past. About two weeks ago I put on the broadheads and shot from fifteen yards. I was pleasantly surprised that they hit extremely close to where my fieldpoints were hitting. Broadheads just tear the hell out of my targets and being a dad of three blood suckers, I am a poor man these days and do not want to be continually buying targets. I shot some broadheads again a week ago and they were still flying good. I guess I tuned the arrows up real good this year as there was not much discrepancy in the accuracy of field points verse by broadheads.

Yep, shot them the past few weeks. Everything is dialed in as should be. I'll go back to practice points, however. My sharpened heads go on, and in the quiver.

I have been shooting broadheads for about a month now. Here are two G5 Strikers at 50 yards out of my Destroyer.
