This one was supposedly shot in Edmond here in Oklahoma. It was supposedly shot on a golf course. I was wondering if anybody else had seen these pictures yet and if the story I have if right or just another email story that changes 100 times. I cant find any info on it for what little I have researched. They say it scored 206.
I can't remember all the details but it is definately legit. The buck spent most of him time around an Edmond golf course but wandered onto this guys property and he killed it.
I was thinking the same thing. Who knows? But one thing's for sure, that's a HUGE buck! I'd love to hear the whole/true story (details) on this bad boy.
You would be surprised at how bad some golf courses look lol. The course I played on in high school looked about like that. Huge buck either way
The buck had the right genetics, points galore and kickers everywhere. Gotta love it, shot with a bow! Woo HOO. Our course holds some deer on the edges, even brought in a nice 10 pointer this year when the rut was on which was shot not far from this house.
anyone else find it funny when people take pictures, while sitting as far away from the deers head, to make it seem bigger? this one is so big he doesnt need to do this trick. i saw this photo taking tip on a tv show sometime and ever since then that is all i notice in every deer picture
That does look like a giant bow! Many golf courses around the country are having to cut costs due to municipal budget cuts and loss of revenue due to crappy economy. I would say let them go and use them for hunting. But I once read a statement that goes like this, " I hate golf but golf is a great game that keeps the uneducated masses from discovering trout!". Well I would have to say that also applies to deer hunting!!!
Just my opinion...and I know you guys are just messin, but sitting far back also showcases the deer better, rather than some goofy dude.
If that's a golf course that is some nasty rough he is sitting in. Beautiful buck though. I love that frame with the picket fence of tines. Congrats to that guy.
